Greetings fellow Dragons:

Greetings from the President,

I would like to thank each of you for electing me to serve as your Scipio A. Jones National Alumni President for the years 2024-2028. I welcome your cooperation, suggestions, and feedback as we work toward moving our organization forward, and plan the Reunion of the Classes in 2026. Members, Supporters, and Friends of Jones High School Alumni, you have played an important role in our organization’s history. Your participation in our Alumni activities is of utmost importance to me, and will be my source of inspiration as I prepare to bring new insight and leadership to the organization.

The Alumni Association meets January-June; August-December. Mark your calendars and bring a friend or guest to the meetings. Meetings will be announced in advance for your planning.

As President, some of the goals that I’m working on are listed below:

1. Increase membership and participation of alumnus and friends at scheduled meetings and the 2026 Reunion.

2. Recognize members and friends who purchase Life-Time Memberships of $500.00 or more.

3. Increase membership dues from $35.00 per year to $50.00 per year beginning 2026.

4. Initiate and recruit the Gold Tie 50-Men Circle.

5. Continue building positive relationships with all Jones Alumni members, friends, and our community.

6. Recruit and reach out to members and friends with professional experiences to participate and play a role in the organization.

7. Challenge each Alumni member to get three (3) new memberships.

I invite all Alumni members, supporters, businesses and community leaders to reach out to help achieve our mission of continuing the legacy of Scipio A. Jones High School. Lastly, mark your calendars and plan to attend our next Reunion of the classes scheduled in July, 2026. More information will be forthcoming. I hope to see you there.
